What happens in episode 35 Death Note?
Matt is gunned down by Takada's bodyguards while Mello takes Takada away in a truck. Takada uses a concealed piece of Death Note to kill Mello, then calls Light for help. The police make their way to the scene but find the truck in flames. Light used the Death Note piece in his watch to kill Takada by self-immolation.
